most abilities seem to be useless and hardly explained anything that they do.
The pet system so far has been really lazy, whats with the reroll and whatnot.

I just recently learned there is a utility button for the pet after playing for 240 hours.
Anything more i should know ?

Would be great if the developers could expand this a little and make this easier for beginners, heck i still dont understand many of the mechanics that should be more simple, like the abilities for each pet.

So far i know Sandstorm, Poison Pit, Vines and Curse is good.
Is there no damage ability to be pursued ?

Lightning Grenade not good ?
Short fuse ?

What do you mean by "Utility"?

If the pet has utility ability like Poison Tips for example, u press X to use it.
Simplest things like that, i just wanted to know a long time ago.

Its not like its a hard game to understand or anything, but still some things need to be explained better, and not just in a newsletter or devstream.

Aside from monthlies, poison tips, wave and curse aura are the only ones worth mentioning. I strongly advise snagging up curse aura for tank squire especially with the new sword looming on the horizon

How is curse aura obtainable ?

It rolls on creeper pets. Might take a handful of pet ability rerolls, but it's definitely there ;p

Thanks ! Were'd u get that ?
And also are any of the damaging abilities useful? Because they are the majority.

Discovered by myself playing the game and making notes on paper...

Dragolich (unobtainable now) - number one for dps hero!

Then Poisonous Tip, Drenching Wave (if you use lightning auras of monk), Curse Aura (for speed), Stranglethorn (for locking enemies), Bearkira pet also useful for locking enemies inside traps.

Please note that for a builder hero any pet is ok since you usually do not play as a builder and maximal empower stats for any pet is the same - 350 max (lvl 60).

Sweet thanks ! This helps alot.
Bearkira? Is that the monthly bear?

Are the lion and the bear any useful?
Lion has Lightning storm :/

Yes, Bearkira is the monthly pet. Plus you could get the Gold Bearkira during carnival (it's gone now).

"The Lion" - Thunder-O pet - is not very useful. "The bear" for me is Bearkira pet with Maelstorm ability, it's good enough.

Ah ok i have Maelstrom, i cant change it to something else.
But thata good eh? Alright thanks !

The golden ones could be rerolled. I turned a few of mine into novelty pets just for the heck of it. It's purely the monthly ones that were locked in.
